An elegant weapon, from a more civilized time.

This dagger is made from 3 bars of L6/1095. Each bar was made from 152 layer stock, forged square, twisted, and resquared. The bars were then ground and forge welded together. The knife was forged to shape resulting in the center bar being tapered down the center to the point.

The blade was then ground out of the billet, heat treated, and finished.

The stars in the twists of the three bars are offset with the outer bars roughly matching in placement.

The fittings are bronze and Desert Ironwood.

This knife was supplied with a hand sewn leather clip sheath, in an Oak presentation case with ceramic stone. It was donated to the Mel Sorg Memorial Fund.
